Exploring careers through visiting a pantomime

Year 6 visit Peacock Theatre in London's West End

This week it was the turn of Year Six pupils to go on an educational visit.  Courtesy of PWC, who fully fund this experience, our pupils enjoyed 'Beauty and the Beast' at the Peacock Theatre in London's West End.  Not only were the pupils able to enjoy the fabulous costumes, excellent acting and live music, but they too were able to consider what future careers they may like to pursue within the performance arts industry, from lighting and sound engineers, costume design, make up artists, stage managers, acting, musical performing - the list is endless!  With film studios being built in Dagenham, we know this industry potentially could be a big employer in the future, hence it was great that some of our pupils are inspired to consider such careers.  Please see below for Class 6F's mindmap and click here for more photos: https://www.williamfordschool.co.uk/gallery/?pid=3&gcatid=30&albumid=63
