We have had a fun day today in Year 3 because it was Egyptian day.  We have made an Egyptian pastry and had to use honey to sweeten them instead of sugar as the Ancient Egyptians didn't have sugar.   We can't wait to taste them.  We liked squishing it even though it's really sticky!  We also made a clay snake that is going to be an Egyptian game and we used baking powder and salt to mummify tomatoes!  We can't wait to tell our families all about it when we get home from school.
