Making a difference - Primary School of the Year - Bronze award

As you may have seen from our website, William Ford Church of England Junior School has been awarded a Bronze Award in the ‘Making a Difference – Primary School of the Year’ category by the Pearson National Teaching Awards! 🏆

The Pearson Awards are often described as the “Oscars of education” — celebrating outstanding schools and individuals across the UK who make a lasting difference in young people’s lives. While only a handful of Silver Award winners go on to appear on BBC One’s The One Show later this year, we are incredibly proud to have received national recognition through this prestigious programme.

At William Ford, our mission is clear: to ensure that every child thrives, not just survives. Through our inclusive Lighthouse Provision and forward-thinking careers education, we give every pupil the tools, confidence and ambition to build a bright and hopeful future.

This award recognises the collective effort of our staff, families and, above all, our pupils — who work hard every day to grow in wisdom, character and purpose.

We remain thankful for God’s continued blessing as we provide a Christian education that transforms lives and inspires futures.
