A night to remember at the O2

We are incredibly proud of our pupils who took part in Young Voices 2026, performing at the prestigious The O2 Arena alongside 8,950 other children as part of one of the largest choirs in the country.

Our choir had the unforgettable experience of singing with a live band, percussionists, backing singers and dancers, performing to a packed audience of parents and carers. The children showcased not only their singing voices, but also their confidence, teamwork and creativity through actions, signing and dance, truly bringing the music to life.

The day itself was long and demanding, with rehearsals throughout the afternoon and a late finish, yet the pupils approached every part of the experience with enthusiasm, resilience and professionalism. They represented the school exceptionally well, both on and off the stage, and we could not be prouder of how they conducted themselves.

This experience links directly to our 11 Experiences, particularly Experience 4: representing the school through music, sport or the arts. Events like this give children the opportunity to perform on a national stage, build confidence and create lifelong memories.

Our sincere thanks go to the staff who gave their time to make this trip possible, and to parents and carers for their support and for collecting children at the end of a very special evening at the O2. It was truly a night to remember.
