Today our pupils had the opportunity to meet actor Paul Macklin, who shared his journey into the world of performing arts. From discovering a love of acting at the age of seven to working on stage, touring productions and appearing on film sets, Paul gave pupils a fascinating insight into life in the creative industries. He also highlighted the many careers behind the scenes, including script writing, choreography and stage design. Most importantly, Paul reminded our pupils that challenges do not have to limit their ambitions and that passion and perseverance can open doors to exciting opportunities.
