"Do better" — a visit from Chris Adiolé, Penerley Solicitors

This week we welcomed Chris Adiolé, Director at Penerley Solicitors, who came in to inspire our children about a career in law. Chris was interviewed on our pupil-led radio station and spoke in collective worship linked to our school vision of being successful.

When one of our children asked who inspired him to become a lawyer, Chris said simply: his dad. A reminder to us all of the difference our words can make to our children.

The children heard about what life as a solicitor really involves: the courtroom, the cases, the ethical questions, and the skills needed to do the job well. His message was simple and worth remembering at any age: do better. Be the best version of yourself. Not compared to anyone else. Compared to who you were yesterday.

We may have a few budding solicitors on our hands.
