We kicked off the new year in style with a visit from Irene Bergin, personal stylist and fashion expert, who came in to introduce our children to a career in fashion and the fascinating world of colour analysis. The headteacher volunteered, or was volunteered, as a live demonstration.

Irene shared her story of moving from South Africa to the UK at the age of seven with limited English, and the determination it took to build her career from there. She also showed the children how subjects like maths, art and computing all feed into her work.

She was interviewed on our school radio station by our new team of pupil DJs, who made an excellent start to the year.
