Our iRockSchool Concert gave the whole school community a chance to sit back and enjoy something rather special: our own children performing to us.

The evening opened with our Lighthouse family band, before moving through a series of rock groups spanning different year groups, each bringing their own energy and style to the stage. There was line dancing that had the audience clapping along, and a highlight for many was a performance from our very own staff band, proof that talent at William Ford is not confined to the pupils.

It was a genuine pleasure to watch children who may never have picked up an instrument before finding their confidence in front of a crowd, and to see the sheer enjoyment on every face, on stage and off. Evenings like this remind us what a gift music is, and we are grateful for the song, music and dance that our children and staff shared with us.

Thank you to everyone who took part and everyone who came along to support. It was a wonderful way to bring our school community together as the year draws to a close.
