We had an unforgettable day with Christian Foley, a poet and rapper who’s performed with stars like John Legend and Lin-Manuel Miranda. He worked with every year group and led a high-energy assembly, showing us how poetry and rap can boost our vocabulary and confidence. Every child had a brilliant time and learnt so much — we’ll be building on this in our literacy work next year.
