Sunshine, Smiles and Summer Fun – FordFest 2025 Brings the Community Together
William Ford’s annual summer celebration, FordFest 2025, once again brought colour, joy and community spirit to our school grounds – and this year’s festival was bigger, busier and brighter than ever.
From the moment gates opened, families poured in to enjoy a packed afternoon of activities, stalls and treats. The playground was alive with excitement as children bounced across bouncy castles, zipped around in go-karts, and spun through the school grounds in vibrant tuk-tuk rides. There were no staged performances this year – instead, the focus was on participation and enjoyment, with pupils given the chance to take part in a range of gymnastics and athletic activities, explore their energy, and simply have fun.
Visitors were spoilt for choice with a wide variety of things to buy, from classic fairground treats like candyfloss and popcorn to refreshing ice poles, which were a hit on such a sunny day. Many families also stopped by stalls selling items handmade by our own pupils – a wonderful showcase of creativity and enterprise that added a personal touch to the day.
The atmosphere throughout the afternoon was filled with laughter, conversation and a sense of togetherness. FordFest is more than just a school fair – it’s a celebration of our wider school family. Events like these allow us to open our gates to the whole community, strengthening the connections that make our school such a warm and welcoming place to be.
A huge thank you goes to all the staff, parents, volunteers and local supporters who gave their time and energy to make FordFest 2025 such a success. Whether you were manning a stall, helping a child into a go-kart, or simply enjoying the day with friends, your presence helped make the festival the joyful event it was.
We hope you enjoy looking through these photographs and reliving some of the moments that made the day so special. Roll on FordFest 2026!
