This week year 4 enjoyed a trip to Beam Park.
On Tuesday, we went on a trip to Beam Park to look at all the different habitats. There were ponds with lily pads, woodland with lots of trees, and big areas of grassland. We saw some of the animals that live there too. At the pond, we spotted coots swimming and lots of Canadian geese waddling around. In the woodland, we could hear birds singing and saw some little bugs crawling on the leaves. It was really fun exploring with my friends and we got to breathe in the fresh air. Luckily, it stayed dry and did not rain, so we could enjoy everything without getting wet! We definitely recommend that you visit there if you haven't already as it's only a short walk from our school! For more photos click here: William Ford Junior School - Year 4's Trip to Beam Parklands
