Inspiration for our boys' and girls' football teams
We were delighted to welcome two special visitors to William Ford Church of England Junior School today. Kyle Walker-Peters and Callum Wilson from West Ham United spent the afternoon with our boys and girls football teams, offering advice, encouragement and inspiration for their football journeys.
The players also took part in an interview on our school radio station which was broadcast across the school. They spoke to pupils about following their dreams, working hard in school and staying resilient when facing challenges. Their message was clear. Talent is important, but commitment, effort and self-belief matter just as much.
This visit is part of the growing programme of guests who come to William Ford to support our pupils in learning about future careers. From sports professionals to creative artists and entrepreneurs, each visitor helps our pupils to understand the many paths open to them and the value of determination and ambition.
We are grateful to Kyle Walker-Peters and Callum Wilson for giving their time and making the day so special for our children.
