William Ford speaking about Article Seven: Every child has the right to be registered at birth, to have a name and nationality, and, as far as possible, to know and be cared for by their parents.
This week, Mrs Buckingham and Mrs Young took the Year 5 and Year 6 Rights Respecting Ambassadors to Barking Town Hall, where the children had the exciting opportunity to present in front of several other schools from across the borough. They spoke confidently about Article 7 and shared the meaningful work our school has been doing to explore and understand this article during our Rights Respecting sessions. The ambassadors represented our school brilliantly and demonstrated both leadership and a strong commitment to children’s rights.
