Our first day back from the Christmas holidays was Colombia day.  We had a fun assembly where we learned more about the children we sponsor in Colombia.  Our learning was also fun because we learnt more about Colombia by looking at a map.  We also wrote shape poems about Colombia and used pastels to make some art just like the Colombian artist who was called Fernando Botero. Our pictures were of different fruits like bananas, pears and pineapples and we had to make them bigger than real life.  We really enjoyed learning more about the country Colombia.
