Year Six Community Month Contribution

This week Year Six got busy over Old Dagenham Park!

As part of our School Community Month, Year 6 pupils visited the local park to help care for their community by taking part in a litter pick. They worked together to collect rubbish from the skateboard park, BMX track and children's play area, helping to keep these spaces clean and safe for everyone to enjoy. This activity supported our commitment as a Rights Respecting School by promoting Article 24 (the right to a clean and healthy environment) and Article 29 (education should help children develop respect for the environment and their community). The children showed excellent teamwork, responsibility and pride in making a positive difference to their local area. For more photos click here: William Ford Junior School - New Photo Album
