Year 4 had a great opportunity to take part in an archery workshop, which links to our ongoing history topics, which have spanned over the year, covering the Stone age, Bronze age and Iron age. As well as this, the archery workshop linked to our new book, which is based around the Vikings: How to train your dragon. Everybody had a great time, learning the techniques and taking part in a competition. Following this, we also has the opportunity to look  at and handle some ancient style bows, such as the long bow. Pupils were educated on the career aspirations linked to this theme - such as Olympic archery. It was a fantastic day!
