Year 4 had a spectacular experience, when visiting Colchester castle, as they enhanced their learning, relating to their History topic: The Romans. The pupils were stunned by the surroundings, the castle itself and the underground passages, where the Romans temple once stood. We had a great time looking at the artefacts, going on a tour and learning and actually taking part in building a round house and a Roman villa.
