This week in Year 5, we had Bagdad day.  We participated in a variety of activities.  First, we wrote Arabic phrases with black paint.  Next, we swapped classes and took part in designing stamps, smelling spices and silk road trading our goods.  After, we learned about the Mongols who invaded during 1258.  Did you know that Bagdad was a major trade place?  This day was one of the best experiences at William Ford that we will never forget!
